We had such a great Easter celebrating our Risen Lord. Case went to church for the first time and was such a sweet boy and slept through the service. After church we headed to Mom and Dad's for Easter brunch. Here are some photos of Case's first Easter.

Tummy Time

After going to the doctor for Case's two week check up, the doctor told us to start working on tummy time. Case is not really a fan but is getting better at holding his head up every day.

Tummy time is so exhausting.

Cason Keyes Burdett, Jr.

On February 23rd, we welcomed our son, Cason Keyes Burdett, Jr. He weighed 7 pounds and was 19 1/2 inches long. He is absolutely perfect and is the love of our lives. We couldn't be more proud!

Welcome To Aggieland

This past weekend we headed to College Station to watch the Aggies play the Bears. I haven't been to A&M since I was a little girl so it was fun to see everything. I am still trying to convince my little brother that he should be a Baylor Bear but I am not sure I am winning his heart yet.

State Fair

On Sunday, Cason, Dad, Ryan and I went to the State Fair (unfortunately Mom had just left for out of town). The weather was perfect and the food was even better. We actually tried the fried butter and I have to say it was really good. Here are some pics from our fun day.

It's a Boy!!!!

We found out that we are having a boy and couldn't be more excited. Cason said that it was going to be a boy the whole time but I never had a hunch. I would say that almost all of my friends thought we were having a girl so it was fun shocking everyone with our news. I have always dreamed of having a little boy. I grew up with a brother and I always babysat boys so it just seems so natural. Right after the doctor's appointment, Cason, Mom and I went shopping before I had to go back to work.

"Baby Burd"

That's right we are going to have a baby and couldn't be more excited! Our little "bean" is due March 4, 2010. We found out that we were pregnant on our five year anniversary. I walked out of the bathroom screaming for joy and Cason just knew.

We sat on our porch in Playa in complete shock. It just seemed so fake that we really were pregnant and going to be parents. I wanted to tell everyone at the pool but knew that would be a little awkward so we didn't.

After we went and had some breakfast, Cason and I took a walk along the beach to start discussing how we were going to tell our families. I didn't want to just call them and it was important for us to tell everyone in person. I don't think that we stopped smiling all day!

We couldn't be more excited to meet our little "Baby Burd."

Please Mind the Gap

Well its about time that I blog about my fabulous trip to London to see Kambry. It was so nice to be able to spend so much time with her and get a good dose of Kambry since I can't see her all the time anymore. The day I landed, Kambry picked me up from the airport and we headed straight to her adorable flat. I was amazed (but not too surprised) at how her flat was already perfectly set up. Here is a picture of her flat.

After a couple hours of relaxing we headed to see Peter Pan in Kensington Gardens. It was so much fun and we felt like kids again (this might have been because we were the only people who didn't have their toddlers in tow). Peter Pan was written in Kensington Gardens so it was very magical to see it there.

Kambry and I must have been asked if we were sisters a million times. It was so funny that people would just randomly ask us if we were twins or just sisters all the time! Too funny.

Probably my most favorite tourist activity that we did was the Fat Tire Bike Tour. This was a four hour bike tour that took us to every major site in London. Our tour guide was so interesting and would stop at every major site and tell us an interesting story.

The next day Kambry and I took an hour train ride out to Hampton Court and saw Hampton Court Palace. After spending the day there we went and met Brian at the Tower Bridge and went to see the London Tower.

Just when I thought that my trip couldn't get any better, we went to Notting Hill and visited the Porobello Market. It was soooo crowded but so much fun. We ate crepes and just shopped around. I loved it!

London Calling

Today I'm flying to London to see Kambry!!! I am so excited not only to see her but also being able to travel around England with her. I am going to miss Cason terribly though so if you are in FW be sure to take care of my hubby! Can't wait to post pics from London!

Little Bro's New Wheels

Yesterday afternoon my parents surprised my brother with his first car. It was so much fun being there with him because he had no idea. His 16th birthday isnt for another month but Mom really wanted him to practice driving it for a while. We were at the pool with the fam when Dad gave Ryan a card and told him to open it. It was a note from Mom and a set of car keys. His little face just lit up and he was sooo excited!

Ryan did not know which vehicle was his and we made it so that he kind of had to hunt for it in the parking lot. Cason had parked the truck pretty far away so it was quite humorous watching Ryan go up to every car and try to unlock it. Once he finally heard the horn when he pressed "unlock" and saw his truck this was his reaction.

As you can tell, Ryan was thrilled!

My parents let me be the first one to ride with him in his new truck because Ryan was the first person to ride with me when I got my first car. He drove us home and literally kept smiling and saying this was the best day ever! It was so cute to just see how excited he was.

5 Year Anniversary Bash!

Last week Cason and I spent our 5 year anniversary in Playa Del Carmen at the Royal Hideaway Resort. Let me tell you this place was AMAZING! It all started the second we arrived and were greeted with champagne and cold wash towels and then learned that we had been up upgrated to an ocean view room that was literally the closest room in the resort to the beach and infinity pool. What luck!

We had perfect weather everyday at about 90 degrees and it never rained. The resort was beautiful and literally looked just like the brochures. Everytime you looked up there were tiny little Mexican waiters bringing you your favorite drink and endless plates of chips with pico and guac. This is the view from our table at lunch when we arrived.

I haven't exactly figured out how to post pictures correctly and also how to just label a picture so I am just going to attach pics below from our trip. Hope you enjoy!

Tomorrow we leave for Playa Del Carmen to celebrate our five year anniversary. Neither of us have been to Playa so we can't wait. I am so excited to be on the beach and relax with my hubby! Really I am just excited that I figured out how to attach pictures to a post so now I can definitely put pics up from the vacation when we get back.

Hello fellow bloggers! I honestly thought this day would never come where I would be blogging about our own little life. I love to read the blogs of others and definitely think that most of the time our life is not that interesting to write about but I would love to just document things a little better.
